Sunday, December 17, 2023 @ 10:00am-12:00noon (Pacific Time)

Join Jeannie to celebrate the season and bask in the richness of the present moment.

Jeannie’s gift for inviting people to join her in resting and rooted presence evokes a deep meeting with oneself and reality. Within that, Jeannie’s humor and iconoclasm serve to bring people into an understanding that is beyond the intellectual. Through silent and guided meditation, spontaneous talks and exchange with participants, Jeannie will host a space of clarity and warmth where the richness of relating can be explored safely and your innermost questions met fully.

Jeannie Zandi is the director of Living as Love, a nonprofit organization dedicated to seeding a culture of the Heart on the planet, inspiring, teaching and supporting people to live from their essence as Love. A year before the birth of her daughter, Jeannie was plunged into a dark night of the soul that culminated in a radical shift of consciousness. She is known for her fearless clarity, tender mercy toward humanness, and a juicy, poetic and often humorous style that draws from Advaita Vedanta, Sufism, Christian mysticism and the ongoing revelation of fully engaged living.

Marlies Myoku Cocheret ~ Exploring Meditation

Friday, December 22, 2023 @ 7:30am - 8:30am (Pacific Time)

Whether you are starting to meditate or already have a meditation practice, this bi-monthly meditation with Marlies will help you drop deeper into connection with yourself, setting the tone for the day in an embodied way.

Your body is a refined sense organ.
It is a portal into the beautiful Silent Presence that you are.
Let’s sit together … abide as You … for All

Meditation is the art of inner exploration. It’s an opportunity to slow down and receive all of life exactly as it is. Using your body as a portal into your Yourself, we will explore how to connect with and abide as your true essence underneath all the daily busy-ness.

You may have noticed that often the mind does not settle easily. In fact, in quietude, all the things you have been trying to avoid often come bubbling up to the surface. It’s not a problem. They simply want to be met with that gentle, fierce and spacious awareness which is what you truly are.

The more we learn to rest as our underlying silent nature, no matter what arises within us, the easier it becomes to keep our seat when the winds of life pull us back and forth.

Come set the tone for the day and be close with yourself in an embodied way.

Marlies Myoku Cocheret was invited to teach the Dharma by Adyashanti in 2000. She teaches meditation, retreats, and works as a Hakomi therapist and psychologist. She brings a potent invitation into the deep silence that you are, and guides you into embodied connection with your humanity and divine nature. With her grounded presence and therapeutic experience, people feel safe to explore meditation and awakening, knowing that whatever comes up is welcome and can be held.

Dorothy Hunt ~ Being, Doing, Having ~ Online Daylong Retreat

Sunday, January 14, 2024 @ 9:00am - 11:00am & 12:00pm - 2:00pm (Pacific Time)

Online Daylong Retreat
January 14, 2024

Recording will be emailed to participants within a week.
You're welcome to join even if you can't attend the live sessions.

When we are operating from the deep dimension of Being, life is experienced as fresh, alive, spontaneous, open, wise, loving, and present to the immediacy of Now. Being is also continually becoming, showing itself as doing, as well as all that appears to come and go in nature and in our relative lives.

However, if we base our identity on what we do, and do not know who or what we truly are, we are in a constant state of trying, striving, and judging a self that needs to become some ideal or perfect version of itself. This leads to a vast
consumer mentality of “having" and acquiring more and more—whether we are attached to having money, power, approval, influence, a partner, or spiritual experiences. Once basic needs are met, does freedom or worth, really depend on having? Is something at peace regardless of circumstance?

In this daylong exploration, we will examine how we value ourselves and so-called others. What does it feel like to allow our doing to come from Being rather than continually equating doing with a self-image or an idea of self-worth? What is the experience of living from Being rather than having? And who is the
“I AM” that seems to be wrapped in so many beliefs?

Dorothy Hunt currently serves as Spiritual Director of Moon Mountain Sangha, teaching at the request and in the spiritual lineage of Adyashanti. The flavor of her teaching blends Advaita and Zen with a deep welcoming of the human expressions of the Mystery. Dorothy is the founder of the San Francisco Center for Meditation and Psychotherapy, and practiced psychotherapy from 1967 until her retirement in 2020.  She is the author of Only This!, Leaves from Moon Mountain, and Ending the Search: From Spiritual Ambition to the Heart of Awareness. In addition, she is a contributing author to two books on Nondual Wisdom and Psychotherapy, and the editor of Love: A Fruit Always in Season.

Presently, Dorothy offers satsang and retreats via Zoom, and dokusan by phone. For more information, please visit www.dorothyhunt.org

Lisa Schumacher ~ Choose Love

Sunday, January 21, 2024 @ 10:00am-12:00noon (Pacific Time)

A meeting with Lisa is an opportunity to step away from your day to day life and devote time for self-inquiry into the heart of Love. There will be a few moments of silence to start the meeting and then Lisa will speak and invite the community to share reports about their realizations and ask questions.

Lisa Schumacher: Lisa grew up in Colusa, CA, and attended college at San Luis Obispo in the 1980's. After she moved to Southern Oregon in the early 90s, a friend invited her to a video satsang with Gangaji. Upon hearing Gangaji say "Be your Natural Self", Lisa's heart caught on fire and she fell into a deep bow of surrender. That meeting revealed to her the absolute simplicity of the natural, living truth of Love, inseparable from who one is. Lisa moved to Bolinas in 1999 to be closer to Gangaji and the vibrant community around her. In 2006, Lisa was asked by Gangaji to meet with people and share Satsang. She has held meetings in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and North America. She's also a long-time student of Eli Jaxon-Bear, Gangaji's husband, and a founding teacher of the Eli's "Leela School of Awakening". Lisa is the author of "The Stone I Love", a book of poetry inspired by Gangaji, available on her website and for purchase at the gathering.

In Lisa's meetings, she invites you to sit close and inquire about your awakening, your spiritual questions, and the unfolding truth. The teaching is in the tradition of Gangaji, who is a student of Papaji, who had his awakening at the feet of Ramana Maharshi.

Ilona Ciunaite ~ From Seeking to Seeing

Sunday, January 28, 2024 @ 8:00am -10:00am (Pacific Time)

Seeking is a powerful energy that is looking for something. It seems that someone else has what I want, or that if I achieve this or that I will be happy. It shows up in many forms and it is directed outwards, to the world, to the future, away from what is.

In this event we will look at the seeking energy, we will recognise what is going on and how it plays out and as we turn attention inwards — something is found. A shift from seeking for to seeing what is already here happens. And what is already here can be met fully, openly, kindly and with respect.
Seeking to know your true nature and trying to understand resolves as beingness and openness is recognised.

And here we rest and allow what needs to be seen to reveal itself, and everything comes back to peace.

What you are looking for is already here.

About Ilona:
Ilona Ciunaite was born in Lithuania. Always interested in the mind and how it works, she has a degree in psychology and a mind-set to focus on freedom for herself and those who find her.

Ilona's search for truth started in 2002 when for the first time she experienced silence of the thinking mind, peace that felt like home. The search ended 8 years later with the question, “is there Ilona running the show?” The separate self was seen to be an illusion. Something deep was recognised and perception of life has changed dramatically.

In September 2011, the Liberation Unleashed website and forum was launched — a global community of volunteer guides. Her book “Liberation Unleashed” was published in 2016 and is filled with pointers, exercises and conversations that lead to finding one's true nature. Inspired by Pamela Wilson Ilona works with people in private and in groups, offering her guidance, so that recognition can happen and with that first step everything else unfolds and falls into place.

Dorothy Hunt ~ Seeing from Love – Hiding from Love ~ 3-part Online Valentine’s Retreat

Friday, February 9, 2024 @ 9:00am – 12:00pm, part of a 3-Part Retreat, includes Feb. 9, 10 & 11

You're welcome to join even if you can't attend the live sessions.

Within each of us is the Source of an unconditional Loving. Are we open to receive such a gift? Is it possible to see ourselves or apparent “others” from this loving dimension of the Heart? Longing for love, we often hide from it, imagining we are not worthy, or demanding that love must come in a particular size and shape. Many have experienced something “called” love that has felt controlling or like a conditional business arrangement—"I’ll love you if you become who I want you to be."

While love may have many faces, in its deepest essence, it has no opposite and requires no protection, although it often evokes feelings of vulnerability in its human expressions.

This three-day online retreat with Dorothy Hunt will include guided meditations, silence, dharma talks, and dialogue, as we explore the experience of giving and receiving Love. We may even discover that our true Valentine lives within as both lover and beloved!
