Jeannie Zandi ~ Beloved Community: Living Presence through Togetherness
What is community, and why does it matter on the spiritual path? In this meetingl, Jeannie will explore the many faces of community—spiritual, social, and inner—as both a ground for healing, a sangha for practice, and a living metaphor for oneness. We’ll reflect on how community can support our embodiment of presence, invite us into deeper unity, and serve as an experimental ground where love becomes lived reality.
Jeannie Zandi is a nondual spiritual teacher and guide for embodied awakening, inviting students to fully inhabit their human lives with presence, clarity, and love. Known for her fierce tenderness, irreverent wisdom, and unwavering presence, she creates powerful spaces for transformation, where truth is met in the raw, and awakening moves beyond concept into lived reality.

Ryan Burton ~ “I Want to Get Back There” – The Most Common Post-Awakening Trap
A practitioner will have many openings and experiences over the course of their spiritual or contemplative endeavor. There is a common and important stage in awakening I call the 'foreground-background split' which occurs after someone has had an opening whether induced or spontaneous.
It can leave us with intense wanting and the question of “how can I get back there?” The challenge of the meditator in this stage is to not mistake the bliss, clarity and unity which characterized the opening as being the awakening itself. Abandoning what was previously attained is an act of surrender that helps us see the true nature of the present.....

Embodied Presence is pure and free of the hurt and pain that we carry in our human body-mind. At the same time, it is not separate from our human experience and is fully allowing it all. It is through aligning with this unconditional allowing that we are healed and embodied. Awakened presence makes it possible for us to meet our long-held emotional pain without resistance and thereby free it, which leads to physical, emotional and psychological healing as well as a more deeply embodied presence. This is how healing and awakening come together as a nondual process. When we make them separate, or spiritually bypass our wounding, we cannot fully heal........ LEARN MORE HERE
