Resting in the Radiance of Being
a direct path into luminous nonduality, rooted in the living heart

Hosted by the Amoda Maa Foundation in association with Open Circle Center.

Join Amoda Maa in the open and alive atmosphere of Berkeley, California, USA for an intimate daylong gathering. This meeting offers a welcoming space to slow down, listen deeply, and come into direct contact with what is most true.

Amoda Maa invites those gathered to rest as the awareness that is already here, prior to the movement of thought. With clarity and warmth, she points to the natural simplicity of being, revealing the freedom, presence, and aliveness that are always available—a living teaching explored in her new book, Unveiling the Light of Being.

The day will unfold in two sessions, with a lunch break in between. Each session will include a short period of silence, a discourse arising from the moment, and ample time for questions and open dialogue with Amoda Maa.

Amoda Maa is a contemporary spiritual teacher and author whose work points directly to the recognition of our essential nature as the silent radiance of being. Her teaching is rooted in luminous nonduality and explores what it means to live from this recognition in the midst of ordinary human life.
Speaking from direct experience rather than religious tradition or lineage, Amoda offers a clear and contemporary approach to awakening—one that invites a movement beyond identification with the separate self and into the freedom, openness, and intimacy of what is already here.

She is the author of several books, most recently Unveiling the Light of Being: The Direct Path to Realizing Your True Nature. Her work is shared internationally through retreats, online gatherings, and writings.

Amoda lives in New Mexico with her husband, poet and contemplative guide Kavi Jezzie Hockaday. Together they co-founded the Amoda Maa Foundation, which supports the sharing of the teachings and its international community.
