You're welcome to join even if you can't attend all the live sessions.

In all of us there is a background substratum: Stillness, dark and often overlooked or unseen, as it is unadorned and we, as awareness, are attracted to the luminous. It is sober and wise and anciently ageless. Honoring and including this dark love nourishes it, so that it is more our felt experience. This allows us to live from the ancient heart of everything, to recognize the heart at the core of everyone and everything. Ultimately, embodied balance is revealed hidden within all the opposites, and streaming soothing transmission results. Each one of us is a sage, mystic and warrior, the great promise, the alchemist and the one that allows humanity to rest as ease in grace. Join Pamela and your fellow sages for a four-part retreat.

Pamela Wilson evokes through dialogue, inquiry and her very presence the qualities of unconditional love and radical acceptance. She is celebrated for her ability to open the heart and create a space in which long-cherished struggles and notions about one’s identity relax. Featured in the book Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Wisdom, Pamela is at her best in heart-felt dialogue, so please bring your questions!

Louise Kay ~ Embodied Awareness

Saturday, September 14, 2024 @ 9:00am-10:30am (Pacific Time)

If you bring your attention fully present into the now and inquire with a genuine, open curiosity into the truth of this moment, what is discovered is that underlying all experiences lies an invisible, potent presence. This presence is often referred to as stillness, being, consciousness or awareness and is the eternal, formless essence of who you are. All else appears in and is perceived by this awareness.

The recognition of this truth through direct experiential knowing is a divine blessing and is followed by a sacred process of integration, which takes place on the level of body and mind. As higher consciousness penetrates the physical body in the surrendered state, unconscious beliefs and conditionings are revealed and released, and unprocessed emotions held in the system rise to the surface to be consciously felt and transmuted. This process of deep healing and maturing takes place over time on the level of form, while one remains anchored in the formlessness of the unending now.

You are invited to join Louise for an exploration of Embodied Awareness comprising a guided meditation and opportunity to ask questions.

About Louise
Louise Kay was born in the north west of The UK. After graduating from university she worked as an English teacher for 15 years, and during this time began to question the deeper meaning of life. This led her to the path of spirituality, where she found a strong resonance with the teachings of non-duality.

In her early thirties Louise felt a deep call in her heart to visit India, where she experienced a profound spiritual awakening. Shortly afterwards Louise began channeling and traveled around the world sharing this gift for several years. During this time she experienced a deepening and integration of her initial spiritual awakening and as she opened more to this non-dual truth a new form of expression revealed itself from deep in her heart.

Louise is passionate about supporting people to live a life of presence and unconditional love. Her greatest joy is to sit together in presence and gently hold space for all emotions, all sensations and all experiences which arise in the moment in order to support the integration of unresolved energies and allow the unfolding of the divine in all who feel the call.
Explorations are usually focused around self-inquiry, the release of limiting beliefs and the integration of unprocessed emotions and energies.

Louise holds group events online and around the world.

Ishita Sharma ~ Embodiment Lab – Experiments in Embodying Presence

Thursday, September 19, 2024 @ 10:00am-11:30am(Pacific Time)

We are not thinking beings who sense; we are sensing beings who think. And re-setting that balance is key to joy, to vibrance, and true liberation!

Join us for Embodiment Lab, an experiential exploration of the body as a doorway to presence and aliveness, returning to the ground of being through our own direct experience.

We will use the fullness of our experience to tune and attune to our bodies, illuminating our deepest healing and freedom. Engaging and transcending our senses, awareness, breath, movement and sound and more, we will use our body's signals to return to sensate presence.

TOGETHER ON OUR CALL WE WILL:

  • Explore states of inner coherence in our own experience.
  • Engage simple yet profound somatic and energetic practices.
  • Experience the healing power of inner and group coherence.
  • Have space to share, ask questions and learn from within and together.
  • Learn about ways to deepen our access to embodied presence.

All levels of experience are welcom.
BIO

Ishita Sharma serves as a spiritual teacher, healing mirror, embodiment guide, and Core Energetics Practitioner of body-based psychotherapy. Teaching Universal principles of healing and mysticism, she is devoted to supporting healing and awakening in all those committed to living a bright and connected life, sharing their gifts for the good of the Whole.

Growing up in India, asking big questions, Ishita's curiosities about the nature of All Things fueled a series of profound openings. Having her relationship to Self, Life and others re-calibrated, while learning to honor her own body's signals as the ultimate path to God, led her to study various spiritual, neurological, relational, somatic and shamanic modalities, through the Grace of her teachers and the Book of her Life.

Ishita has coached visionaries and leaders from Google, Harvard, MIT, Silicon Valley, Broadway artists, and renowned scientists, coaches, teachers, artists and activists. Clients come to her to grow through their deepest longings and challenges, held and mirrored in their perfect wholeness. She points every one of them back to center.

Ishita’s teachings, like her learnings, support self-study through direct realization. They marry western mind and eastern spirit through the human body and heart to facilitate embodied awakening and authentic connection, the balm for our tumultuous times.

Care for our sacred shared world informs all her endeavors. Ishita now uses her skills to help clients connect with their inner signals so they can find rest in minds, ease in their bodies, joy in their hearts, and embody their True Nature in right relation with Life. She brings 15 years of advanced facilitation, a refined meditation practice, and a fierce devotion to her own healing to serve. She looks forward to meeting and supporting you!

Ellen Emmet ~ Venturing Into the Unlit Corners of the Now

Sunday, September 29, 2024 @ 9:00am-12:30pm (Pacific Time), with 1/2 hour break

We start at 9:00 am Pacific Time / 5:00 pm UK time /
6:00 pm Central European Time.

Recording will be emailed to participants within a week.
You’re welcome to join even if you can’t attend the live session.

There are times in each of our lives when a bitter wind blows our spiritual torch out. It may be called depression, grief, trauma, illness, the end of a relationship, a sense that we are no longer in alignment with our deepest self.
Here we are, standing at the threshold of our being, knowing that nothing we have used to light the way forward will work.

During this gathering we will venture together, away from the certitudes held by the mind and into the dark wilderness of the body. We will listen inwardly to our felt experience. Perhaps we will face and taste the unconscious layers of defense that portent to protect us yet keep us in a cell of false security.
Perhaps we will touch the vulnerability and strength of Life as she cycles and connects us to the great garland of creation.

Ellen will draw on her experience of Kashmir nondual yoga, the Jungian ideas especially as expressed by Marion Woodman, Authentic Movement, and whatever else may arise from the field of our gathering. There will be time for sharing in a safe container.

About Ellen:
Ellen’s deepest intuition was confirmed when she met her teacher in the non-dual tradition, Francis Lucille. Hearing his words, she recognised the eternal, limitless and universal nature of our shared reality. Over the years, this understanding has continued to unfold and to touch all levels of experience.

At the very same time, Ellen has never ceased to delve into the depths of her human experience, seen and unseen, thirsting for a wholeness and connectedness which appeared to be lost or obscured. This unstoppable quest brought her to therapy, Jungian workshops (and later Jungian analysis), Dream Work, Authentic Movement and creative writing.

More and more, she senses that each of our lives is a journey of revelation and integration, including its darker crossings, through which the face of truth can shine uniquely and anew, wedding us to our direct experience and connecting us to the great family of creation.

Lynn Marie Lumiere, MFT ~ EMPOWERED EMBODIMENT: The Deepest Solution to Life’s Challenges

Saturday, October 5, 2024 @ 10:00-12:00pm (Pacific Time)

With all that is going on in our personal lives as well as in the world we live in, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed and disempowered. The only way we can be fully empowered is to embody our deepest nature. Having a direct experience of our nature is only the beginning. Then we embark on the beautiful and challenging journey of embodying that on all levels of our human being—somatic, emotional, psychological, and relational. The more we can embody our loving presence on any of those levels, the more empowered we are to transform our lives and the lives of those around us, as well as the world we live in. This is the deepest solution to all that we are facing.

In this event, we will start with the somatic level with group practices that align our nervous system with our calm, open, nature. When those two are out of alignment, it makes life more difficult than it needs to be. We are meant to live as a powerful, integrated whole. You are also welcome to bring whatever issues you have on any other level of your humanness. Lynn Marie will meet it all with open awareness and psychological skills, if needed.

Lynn Marie Lumiere, is a seasoned psychotherapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, spiritual mentor, and author. She offers a rare blend of embodied spiritual wisdom with a skilled therapeutic approach that facilitates healing of psychological trauma and wounding and the embodiment of awakening. Her depth of experience, rooted in her own healing and awakening journey, spans decades of expertly guiding individuals in the resolution of their trauma and into connection with their true nature. Lynn Marie is the author of Awakened Relating: A Guide to Embodying More Love in Relationships.

Jeannie Zandi ~ Sovereignty

Saturday, October 12, 2024 @ 10:00am-12:00noon (Pacific Time)

Join Jeannie to explore sovereignty - reclaim your connection and trust in yourself, your connection to the divine and clarify your relating to others.

Jeannie’s gift for inviting people to join her in resting and rooted presence evokes a deep meeting with oneself and reality. Within that, Jeannie’s humor and iconoclasm serve to bring people into an understanding that is beyond the intellectual. Through silent and guided meditation, spontaneous talks and exchange with participants, Jeannie will host a space of clarity and warmth where the richness of relating can be explored safely and your innermost questions met fully.

Jeannie Zandi is the director of Living as Love, a nonprofit organization dedicated to seeding a culture of the Heart on the planet, inspiring, teaching and supporting people to live from their essence as Love. A year before the birth of her daughter, Jeannie was plunged into a dark night of the soul that culminated in a radical shift of consciousness. She is known for her fearless clarity, tender mercy toward humanness, and a juicy, poetic and often humorous style that draws from Advaita Vedanta, Sufism, Christian mysticism and the ongoing revelation of fully engaged living.

John Prendergast and Lisa Ferguson ~ Engaged Nonduality

Sunday, October 13, 2024 @ 9:00am-11:00am (Pacific Time)

Engaged Nonduality
Awakening and Action:
Toward an Engaged Nondual Approach

with John Prendergast and Lisa Ferguson ~ Oct. 13th

Recording will be emailed to participants within a week.
You’re welcome to join even if you can’t attend the live session.

In this kickoff to the series, Lisa will present a working framework and practices to open the space to explore an engaged nonduality: how the recognition of non-separation moves in response to our world in crisis. This will include themes of personal and collective awakening, individual action, and collective liberation. We will explore how love and truth might move through us, as well as how we can kindly tend to our conditioned parts and intense emotions - such as terror, despair, rage and shame - that may emerge as we face the enormity of our Metacrisis.

John and Lisa will offer space for group sharing, meditation and a deep meeting of what arises as we face our Metacrisis in community, from the heart of being.

Engaged Nonduality Series

This series weaves nondual awakening and an embodied response to our world in crisis. We are facing intersecting crises of climate breakdown, the potential of ecological and systems collapse, severe injustice and inequality, rising authoritarianism, unaligned tech and AI, and more. The path of nonduality has much to offer in these times, including a deep recognition of our wholeness and shared Being, and opening to the wellspring of our wise response.

While awakening is often engaged in a more personal context, we are expanding the context to include structural harm and systemic crisis, where the rubber hits the road in our world today. This series invites guest presenters to explore how the wisdom of these nondual teachings may be deeply embodied through a response to our world in crisis. These sessions may include guided meditations, group and dyadic inquiry and group interaction.

Register for one or more dates, or the full series together.

The following events in the series will be hosted by John Prendergast and Lisa Ferguson.
October 20th: Jeremy Lent ~ From Awakened Heart to a Flourishing Earth
October 27th: Jonathan Gustin ~ Non-dual Responsibility - Exploring Non-duality & the Metacrisis

Prendergast, Ph.D. is the author of The Deep Heart: Our Portal to Presence (2019 ) and In Touch: How to Tune In to the Inner Guidance of Your Body and Trust Yourself (2015) and is working on a new book entitled Your Deepest Ground: A Guide to Embodied Spirituality (March 2025). Amoda Maa offers a profound invitation to all those who wish to embody the truth of awakened consciousness in the midst of everyday life. John Prendergast, Lisa Ferguson & Jeremy Lent ~ Engaged Nonduality

Sunday, October 20, 2024 @ 9:00am-11:00am (Pacific Time)

Engaged Nonduality
From Awakened Heart to a Flourishing Future

with John Prendergast, Lisa Ferguson
and Jeremy Lent ~ Oct. 20th

Recording will be emailed to participants within a week.
You’re welcome to join even if you can’t attend the live session.

A deep investigation into the source of the metacrisis reveals, at its root, a worldview of separation: a belief that we’re split between mind and body, separate from each other, and at odds with the natural world.

In this session, Jeremy Lent will show how that worldview has led to today’s civilizational crisis and what’s at stake for our future. Then, we’ll explore an alternative worldview of deep interconnectedness that arises naturally both from modern science as well as the great wisdom traditions of Buddhism, Taoism, and Indigenous knowledge— and what it implies for our identity and values.

Finally, Jeremy will offer a glimpse of what a civilization might look like based on values arising from this worldview—one that sets the conditions for all people to thrive on a regenerated Earth: an ecological civilization.

Jeremy Lent is an author and speaker whose work investigates the underlying causes of our civilization’s existential crisis, and explores pathways toward a life-affirming future. His award-winning books, The Patterning Instinct: A Cultural History of Humanity’s Search for Meaning, and The Web of Meaning: Integrating Science and Traditional Wisdom to Find Our Place in the Universe, trace the historical underpinnings and flaws of the dominant worldview, and offer a foundation for an integrative worldview that could lead humanity to a flourishing future. He has written extensively about the vision and specifics of an ecological civilization and is founder of the Deep Transformation Network, an online global community exploring pathways for a deep transformation toward a life-affirming future on a regenerated Earth. Stephan Bodian ~ Welcoming What Is

Saturday, October 26, 2024 @ 9:00am-10:30am (Pacific Time)

By its very nature, consciousness delights in its expressions in form, and awareness welcomes whatever arises. When we wake up to who we really are, we discover the innate perfection of this moment right now. Nothing is inherently missing or problematic in the sacred mystery of Being. But the ego has its own ideas about how things should be and is constantly resisting what is and trying to impose its agenda on life.

In this satsang, we’ll sit together in the silent mystery of Being and explore how to relate with our resistance to what is, using the Rumi poem The Guest House as our guide. Includes guided meditation, pointers, and plenty of time for Q&A and discussion.

Stephan Bodian is a teacher in the nondual wisdom tradition of Zen, Dzogchen, and Advaita Vedanta. He's been offering the School for Awakening, an annual multi-month intensive program in spiritual unfolding and awakened living, since 2007. As a licensed psychotherapist, he brings a deep understanding of the impact of trauma and early conditioning on the process of spiritual realization and offers individual counseling and mentoring in psychospiritual integration. Stephan studied for many years with Advaita master Jean Klein and received Dharma transmission from Adyashanti in 2001. His books include Wake Up Now and Beyond Mindfulness. Engaged Nonduality
Non-dual Responsibility -
Exploring Non-duality & the Metacrisis

with John Prendergast, Lisa Ferguson
and Jonathan Gustin ~ Oct. 27th

Recording will be emailed to participants within a week.
You’re welcome to join even if you can’t attend the live session.

For a short 3 minute video preview, watch "Non-dual Responsibility" and read the corresponding paper here.

Many spiritual journeys adjourn with a peaceful detachment. A different finale is possible—a love of the unmanifest infinite with a passionate engagement with material existence.

In this gathering we will explore moksha-dharma (liberation and responsibility). A splitting between Moksha (Liberation/Enlightenment) and Dharma (purpose/duty) is not only false...it may be inadvertently contributing to metacrisis. Non-duality can (and should) evolve, to include dharmic responsibility and 'engaged liberation' where "love leaves nothing out."

We will explore: two varieties of Non-duality and the Metacrisis, Non-dual dharma, Non-Dual Kinship and how this relates to soul-level purpose.

Jonathan Gustin, M.A, MFT, Jonathan is the founder of Purpose Guides Institute. He helps people to find and embody their life’s purpose, and offers training for those who want to become Purpose Guides themselves. He is also a meditation teacher, facilitating meditation gatherings remotely as well as in-person in his hometown of Victoria, BC, Canada.

Jonathan Gustin is the founder of Purpose Guides Institute and a meditation teacher. He helps people to find and embody their life’s purpose, and offers training for those who want to become Purpose Guides themselves.

John J. Prendergast is a retired psychotherapist and Adjunct Professor of Psychology. He studied with the European sage Jean Klein for many years as well as with Adyashanti.

Lisa Ferguson is the founder of Climate Compassion, and has focused on supporting planetary wellbeing as a healing arts practitioner, climate justice activist, organizer and contemplative.

John Prendergast, Lisa Ferguson & Caverly Morgan ~ Engaged Nonduality

Saturday, November 2, 2024 @ 9:00am-11:00am (Pacific Time)

Engaged Nonduality
Acting on Behalf of The Heart of Who We Are

with John Prendergast, Lisa Ferguson
and Caverly Morgan ~ Nov. 2nd

Recording will be emailed to participants within a week.
You’re welcome to join even if you can’t attend the live session.

This gathering is about the act of being. It’s about knowing a happiness you can’t explain because you have no reason to point to. The joy of pure being. Together we’ll explore knowing who you are, resting in presence, and what it means to act in the world on behalf of this deep knowing.

We’ll give our attention to the pleasure of being aware of being aware, and seeing what gets in the way of this—personally and collectively—while exploring how to let it go, to undo, to realize freedom together.

This gathering will consist of a guided meditation, a teaching, and a group discussion. It is based on Caverly’s book: The Heart of Who We Are: Realizing Freedom Together.

Caverly Morgan is a spiritual teacher, non-profit founder, speaker and writer who blends the original spirit of Zen with a modern nondual approach. She is the author of The Heart of Who We Are: Realizing Freedom Together as well as A Kids Book About Mindfulness. Caverly is the founder of Peace in Schools, a nonprofit that created the nation’s first for-credit mindfulness class in public high schools. Her practice began in 1995 and has included eight years of training in a silent Zen monastery.  She has been teaching contemplative practice since 2001. Caverly leads meditation retreats, workshops and online classes internationally. Learn more at caverlymorgan.org.

Lisa Schumacher ~ Choose Love: Self-Inquiry Meeting

Sunday, November 3, 2024 @ 10:00am-12:00noon (Pacific Time)

NOTE: As of SUNDAY morning 2 AM on NOV. 3rd, clocks in most of the USA are turned back 1 hour. Daylight Savings Time ends.
Times shown here will be Pacific Standard Time starting early morning Sunday Nov. 3, 2024

~~

A meeting with Lisa is an opportunity to step away from your day to day life and devote time for self-inquiry into the heart of Love. There will be a few moments of silence to start the meeting and then Lisa will speak and invite the community to share reports about their realizations and ask questions.

About Lisa Schumacher
Lisa grew up in Colusa, CA, and attended college at San Luis Obispo in the 1980’s. After she moved to Southern Oregon in the early 90s, a friend invited her to a video satsang with Gangaji. Upon hearing Gangaji say “Be your Natural Self”, Lisa’s heart caught on fire and she fell into a deep bow of surrender. That meeting revealed to her the absolute simplicity of the natural, living truth of Love, inseparable from who one is. Lisa moved to Bolinas in 1999 to be closer to Gangaji and the vibrant community around her.

In 2006, Lisa was asked by Gangaji to meet with people and share her discovery of the Love that is alive in the core of one’s being . She holds meetings in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and North America. She’s also a long-time student of Eli Jaxon-Bear, Gangaji’s husband, and a founding teacher of the “Leela School of Awakening”. Lisa is the author of “The Stone I Love”, a book of poetry inspired by her meeting with Gangaji, available on her website.

In Lisa’s meetings, she invites you to rest in stillness. Your discoveries and questions about awakening, deepening, and the unfolding truth are welcome. The teaching is in the tradition of Gangaji, who is a student of Papaji, who had his awakening at the feet of Ramana Maharshi.

Susanne Marie ~ What Do I Really Want? The Importance of Intention

Sunday, November 10, 2024 @ 9:00am-11:00am (Pacific Time)

It is good to take stock now and then and sincerely look at what one is wanting spiritually. In order to attain undivided Truth, one needs to be intentional, even if knowing how to get there is undefined. In actuality, having clarity in the moment as to 'how', while also allowing divine intelligence to guide, are both important frames of mind to hold in realizing your true nature.

It is important to recognize that the purpose of the seeking energy is to motivate one to come home to oneself. In fact, it can be a guide for you if you learn how to listen. Having an inner drive to wake up is the first step, learning how to listen and follow your inner guidance is the second step, and finally, surrendering and resting in the unknown is the third step. But nothing happens without inner clarity of what we are sincerely wanting. Without intention, one can float a long time in confusion as to how to realize.

The aim of this meeting will be to go beyond the ideas you hold about awakening, lovingly letting go of any false beliefs you may encounter, and access the current true desire you have to wake up. This helps reboot your spiritual intention, bringing it into the now, and enlivening its potentiality.

About Susanne Marie
Featured in conversation with Adyashanti on Buddha at the Gas Pump as well as on Conscious TV, Susanne Marie offers teachings in support of freedom and the celebration of our common essence of love and unity with all life. Susanne, who lives in Northern California, is the parent of two young adults. She offers spiritual mentoring, online and in-person group facilitation, as well as retreats.

Stephan Bodian ~ Awakening Day Mini Retreat

Sunday, December 8, 2024 @ 8:00am-12:00noon (Pacific Time)

In Japanese Zen, December 8 is celebrated as Bodhi Day, the anniversary of the Buddha’s awakening, and monasteries hold a special retreat that extends through the night of the seventh and culminates at dawn on the eight, when the Buddha saw the morning star and attained enlightenment. This December 8th is also the 50th anniversary of my ordination as a Zen monk, and I want to express my gratitude to my teachers and students by sitting with you in awakened awareness. The emphasis will be on silent sitting accompanied by teachings and reflections on the nature of awakening and direct pointers to our natural state of inherent wakefulness.

When our inner ocean is stormy, we can follow the waves deep into the serene solace of Stillness. This ancient presence is already within you, holding you and giving life.
Reactions, distractions and busyness keep us on the surface, thus limiting the flow of our transmission. Most of us have noticed when we stop, unwinding happens and peace unfolds. We are, of course, active sages supporting our families, friends and communities.
Yet, the resource that holds everyone longs for us to include ourselves, to shine awareness into the dark all giving Love that lays beneath.

Join Pamela Wilson for this four session retreat, which invites you to include the profound unseen mountain of your being. The strength that animates, blesses and which is intimate with all beings.

Pamela will guide us to honor and nourish this dark love within, allowing us to live from the ancient heart of everything. To be the Ancient Heart!

Pamela Wilson evokes through dialogue, inquiry and her very presence the qualities of unconditional love and radical acceptance. She is celebrated for her ability to open the heart and create a space in which long-cherished struggles and notions about one’s identity relax. Susanne Marie ~ The Light Inside the Dark ~ In Honor of Solstice

Saturday, December 21, 2024 @ 9:00am-11:00am (Pacific Time)

In honor of Solstice we will meet in the unmoving stillness, resting with equanimity, holding what we encounter within with kindness and allowance. By entering darkness, we are invited to know ourselves more intimately, surrendering to that which does not push away what we contain. By making peace with what is denied and feels uncomfortable, we open to the power of yielding to the wisdom of inner reconciliation. Solstice in Latin translates to: the standing still of the Sun. Together we will stand still, rest and gather nurturance within our beingness, opening in allowance to what is, which initiates what can become. Only by meeting ourselves with allowance, do we evolve beyond resistance. Solstice is an ideal day to rest, heal, and prepare for the longer days ahead.

About Susanne Marie
Featured in conversation with Adyashanti on Buddha at the Gas Pump as well as on Conscious TV, Susanne Marie offers integrated teachings in support of freedom, and the celebration of our common essence of love and unity with all life. Susanne, who lives in Northern California, is the parent of two young adults. As a natural empath, her teaching style is heart-centered and practical, whose focus is on supporting you in your unique awakening journey. Susanne leads in-person retreats, online courses, a monthly online meeting, and mentors individuals privately.

Ishita Sharma ~ Embodiment Lab – Experiments in Embodying Presence

Sunday, December 22, 2024 @ 10:30am-12:00pm (Pacific Time)

Stephan Bodian ~ Waking Up Through the Metacrisis: Finding Deeper Ground in Challenging Times

Saturday, January 4, 2025 @ 9:00am-10:30am (Pacific Time)

The Buddha said it succinctly 2500 years ago: human existence is, and always has been, marked by constant change and uncertainty. Yet we find ourselves in uniquely challenging and uncertain times: overpopulation, mass extinctions, extreme weather, environmental tipping points, political upheaval, nuclear proliferation, demographic instability and widespread migrations, and the advent of technologies that challenge and distort our understanding of what’s real and true.

Perhaps our civilization is just on the verge of collapse, like so many before it. But since it covers the globe, this raises the unprecedented prospect that the future of human life on Earth may be threatened as well.

Of course, we can always seek refuge in the simplicity and innate perfection of right now and in the knowing that our true nature--awakened awareness, consciousness, the absolute--is undisturbed and never dies, and life is always unfolding in its own sacred and mysterious way.

But, as one of my Zen teachers used to say, what about the blood? That is, what about all the painful consequences at a very human level of all this difficult and precipitous change? How do we find peace in a deeper ground while acknowledging and welcoming our understandable feelings of fear, outrage, or grief and doing what we can to make a difference if we choose?.

Please join me for one or more satsangs in this monthly series (Jan-May) that include meditations for returning to and resting in our deeper ground while welcoming and working with the feelings that these challenging times evoke. There will also be a brief talk and plenty of time for sharing and discussion. This will not be a space for intellectual analysis or political discussion.

Stephan Bodian ~ Waking Up Through the Metacrisis: Finding Deeper Ground in Challenging Times

Saturday, January 4, 2025 @ 9:00am-10:30am (Pacific Time)

We find ourselves in uniquely challenging and uncertain times: overpopulation, mass extinctions, extreme weather, environmental tipping points, political upheaval, nuclear proliferation, demographic instability and widespread migrations, and the advent of technologies that challenge and distort our understanding of what’s real and true.
Of course, we can always seek refuge in the knowing that our true nature − awakened awareness, consciousness, the absolute − is undisturbed and never dies. But what about all the painful consequences at a very human level of all this difficult and precipitous change? How do we find peace in a deeper ground while acknowledging and welcoming our understandable feelings of fear, outrage, or grief?

Please join me for one or more satsangs in this monthly series (Jan-May) that include resting in our deeper ground while welcoming and working with the feelings that these challenging times evoke.

Stephan Bodian is a teacher in the non-dual wisdom tradition, and a licensed psychotherapist, who brings a deep understanding of the impact of trauma on the process of spiritual realization. Stephan studied for many years with Advaita master Jean Klein and received Dharma transmission from Adyashanti in 2001.

Lisa Schumacher ~ Choose Love: Self-Inquiry Meeting

Sunday, January 5, 2025 @ 10:00am-12:00noon (Pacific Time)

A meeting with Lisa is an encounter in openness and silence, where you are invited just as you are and where you will find clear and loving support for your awakening.

You are invited into a community space that values the transmission of peace and love that is present here. In your search for freedom, you can rest in stopping. You can find stillness in Satsang.

“Satsang” means “in the company of Truth” – it describes a meeting where we gather together to uncover our True Nature.

Lisa offers guidance for your awakening, and would love to hear what you are discovering in yourself. All of your spiritual questions and reports are welcome as we discover together how to meet the intensity of the world with an open and loving heart.

This is an embrace of inclusion and an inquiry into the heart of the truth, as it transmits through your life.

All are welcome.

During our meeting together, Lisa will support you with deep stillness and skillful self-inquiry to open to your true nature, leaving behind the illusion of a separate self. During the webinar, you may rest in silence. This is deeply nourishing. We will begin each meeting sitting in silence.

Lisa Schumacher ~ Choose Love: Self-Inquiry Meeting

Sunday, January 5, 2025 @ 10:00am-12:00noon (Pacific Time)

A meeting with Lisa is an opportunity to step away from your day to day life and devote time for self-inquiry into the heart of Love. There will be a few moments of silence to start the meeting and then Lisa will speak and invite the community to share reports about their realizations and ask questions.

Upon hearing Gangaji in the early 90s say “Be your Natural Self”, Lisa’s heart caught on fire and she fell into a deep bow of surrender. That meeting revealed to her the absolute simplicity of the natural, living truth of Love, inseparable from who one is. Within from Awake Loving Flow

with Loch Kelly and Lisa Ferguson

Recording will be emailed to participants within a week.

We live in a time of multiple intersecting crises that threaten the wellbeing of all life, including climate breakdown, unaligned tech and AI, injustice, war and authoritarianism. The recognition of nonduality has much to offer in these times, including a deep knowing of our wholeness and shared Being, as well as opening to the wellspring of our wise and creative response. This series invites guest presenters to explore how nondual teaching may respond to planetary crises through talks, practices and group participation.

Loch Kelly, M.Div., LCSW is the creator of the new nondual meditation app, Mindful Glimpses. He is the founder of the 501c3 nonprofit public charity, Effortless Mindfulness Institute. Loch is an award-winning author, licensed psychotherapist and recognized leader in the field of meditation and awakening. He and has worked in community mental health, established homeless shelters and counseled family members of 9/11 in NYC.

Loch graduated from Columbia University Social Work School and received a fellowship from Union Theological to study meditation in Sri Lanka, India and Nepal. It was there he studied with Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and many of the great nondual masters of our age.

Loch has collaborated with neuroscientists at Yale, UPenn and NYU in the study of how awareness training can enhance compassion and wellbeing. In 2007 Loch was asked to teach by Adyashanti.
Loch is dedicated to reducing suffering and supporting people to live from open-hearted awareness. He is known for his warm sense of humor and his trust that awakening is the next natural stage of development. He teaches the advanced yet simple nondual pointers and direct methods of Effortless Mindfulness, informed by wisdom traditions, psychology and social justice. Georgia Simone ~ Awakened Healing: Become The Space Where Healing Takes Place

Sunday, January 12, 2025 @ 9:30am-11:30am (Pacific Time)

Welcome to The Holding Space.

A space where we can gather together and BE exactly as we are

A space where the full spectrum of your human experience is invited

Calm, anxious, open, closed,

ALL is welcome here.

It's in this gentle embrace that everything can start to unravel. It's in this open space that we can begin to unwind the strategies that no longer serve us. This is the space that early mis-attunement failed to foster, the space where love blooms and new life can emerge. This is the space where all that quivers and shakes can come to rest, and where all that contorts can untwist into greater alignment.

Through gentle exploration and somatic awareness you can cultivate a new way of being with your most challenging patterns. No longer a victim of the push and pull of inner disturbance, you can step forward with greater confidence, knowing that whatever comes your way, you embody the resilience and the capacity to meet and integrate it.

You can expect a deeply held space where you’ll be invited to slow down, tune in, and track your present-moment experience. As you awaken and refine a more subtle way of Being and Being With, you can slowly but surely become the space – the container and the field – where healing takes place.

Bio:
The first leg of Georgia Simone’s path exposed her to the teachings of Advaita Vedanta, which provided her with the foundation she needed to disidentify from pain and suffering. However, despite a growing freedom, a significant bypass took place, as her orientation towards transcendence reinforced her deep disconnection from Life. Upon seeing this, her focus became addressing the unresolved trauma that had woven its way into every fibre of her being.

During this period, Georgia was influenced by Inner Relationship Focusing, a presence based approach that works with the Felt Sense and the split-off parts of self. She also trained as a NARM informed practitioner, which addresses developmental trauma from a psychotherapeutic perspective. Her approach is now a seamless blend of mystical insight and psychological understanding.

After many years of wading through this marshland of conditioning, she shares her discoveries with others. She believes that the spiritual path is as much about arriving here fully – as an embodied human being – as it is about dissolving into the infinite source that makes this life possible. How can we die to the absolute, while deeply embracing our relative human experience? This Living Inquiry is her Life’s prayer.
