How can we reconnect to our original longing beyond all concepts? And how can we live this longing and let it lead us to come home to who we really are? With guided meditations\, talks and dialogues\, we reconnect with our longing and wake up to the freedom that we are. \nDay 1 – What is the Longing?\nI invite you to remember what triggered your original longing to come home to yourself. Was it a particular event? Was it meeting a particular person? Was it a loss or tragedy? Or was this longing always there as long as you can remember? If we have been on the spiritual path for many years we might have got so caught up in spiritual concepts and hoping for some perfect ‘one day’\, that we have forgotten why we even started this journey. In remembering the original longing we can start to reconnect with the innocent and true call home. \nDay 2 – What is Freedom?\nOn this path we have picked up so many spiritual concepts about what it might mean to be free. We tend to want to be free from discomfort\, fear and pain. But true freedom is not limited to any concept. It is not about being ‘free from’ but more about being ‘free with’. Freedom is who you are\, and not about having a perfect experience. \nDay 3 – Longing to be Free\nReconnecting to our original longing and then acknowledging that the freedom we have been longing for isn’t ‘out there’ or ‘one day’\, we come full circle back to meeting the longing itself. What you have been longing for is already who you are. You are already free and always have been\, despite any experience of apparent restriction. This is radical freedom that unconditionally includes whatever is here. Embracing our direct experience rather than waiting to be free from it\, is what we have been longing for. \nAbout Unmani\nMeeting with Unmani is meeting with yourself in the most real and alive way. Unmani is originally from the UK\, but has lived in many countries around the world. Since she was a child\, Unmani didn’t identify with being a separate individual\, but assumed there was something wrong with her\, until she came across the expression of Satsang and nonduality. Truth has always been her passion. Unmani had teachers including Osho\, Dolano\, Nathan Gill\, Tony Parsons\, Gangaji and several other amazing people who are not considered ‘teachers’. \nIn 2013 she met her husband\, the wonderful musician\, and courageous lover of life\, Robert Hanuman. In 2015 their son\, Sky\, was born. On 3rd January 2018\, Robert Hanuman died suddenly from a heart attack while they were in India. Robert Hanuman’s presence deeply influenced Unmani’s teaching\, and in the time they were together it evolved into a more human expression of the courage to live the paradox of the Absolute\, living as this human. Robert put Unmani’s words to his beautiful classical guitar music and Unmani still plays his songs at her meetings. \nUnmani has been holding meetings and retreats all over the world since 2003\, and in this time people have been deeply touched by her work: She meets each person exactly where they are at\, and in whatever they need at the time\, while at the same time holding them in the truth of who they really are beyond it all. This combination\, and paradox\, of the personal and impersonal\, brings so much depth\, openness and healing to people’s lives. They wake up to who they really are\, and discover how this is lived and integrated into their daily lives. \nUnmani has written three books: I am Life itself\, Die to Love and The Courage to Come Alive (soon to be published). Unmani holds regular meetings and retreats several times a year as well as monthly webinars on different themes.
