Richard Miller ~ Give Yourself to Love
Tuesday, February 13, 2018 @ 7:00pm-8:45pm
How deeply does love move in your relationships with your partner, loved ones, friends, and workmates? How deeply are you able to see, hear, connect with and welcome your every experience with your self and others? Are you open and responsive? Or do you feel defensive, dismissive, or reactive when your expectations are disappointed?
In 1983 Richard Miller met his spiritual mentor, Jean Klein, who introduced him to the direct realization of the nondual teachings as exemplified in the paths of Advaita, Kashmir Yoga, Taoism, Mahamudra and Dzogchen. Richard now shares this realization and its integration into our daily life and relationships. Richard teaches internationally and serves as a consultant researching the nondual meditation protocol he’s developed, Integrative Restoration ~ iRest Meditation, a secular adaptation of the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra, studying its efficacy on health, healing, well-being, and awakening.
“Love is unmistakable. We know when it’s present. Love feels spacious, passionate, and open. It heals our sense of separation and calls forth deep peace, tenderness, and intimacy with ourselves and others. When love comes dressed in the form of another, what we actually love is neither body, mind, emotions or personality. It is love that we love. Love allows our everyday experience of separation to drop away, as we fall into the miracle of love. The nondual teachings are a call to us to give ourselves to love—completely. The teachings show us how to welcome each moment, and our response to each moment, with and from love. Beyond all our stories, expectations and conclusions, there is a field of love. Let us meet there.”
