The Bauls are a traditional sect from northeastern India who often defy societal conventions and who seek a direct connection with the divine through ecstatic singing\, music and dance. Sri Ramachandra is a trustee of Sanatan Siddhashram\, a center in West Bengal founded by the internationally acclaimed Baul dancer and teacher\, Maa Parvathy Baul. This center is dedicated to the practice of the ancient Baul tradition and propagation of its philosophy\, conducting courses in deity worship\, yoga\, and meditation. Sri Ramachandra is also the author of the book Devi Bhakti Tarangani\, an English-language book of devotional poetry dedicated to the Divine Mother\, which has been translated into Hungarian and French.
