SUMMARY:Marlies Myoku Cocheret ~ The Beauty of These Times
DESCRIPTION:Join Marlies and friends for two online satsangs. You are invited to get curious and discover how we can use these times for the good and the awakening to the love-virus instead of the fear-virus.\nGandhi spoke something beautiful: “The enemy is fear. We think it is hate; but it is not hate\, it is fear.”\nOsho: “There is no virus in this world more dangerous than fear. Understand this fear\, otherwise you will become a dead body before your body dies.” \nFear clouds our minds and blocks true perception. But how can we work with this fear? We need to meet it and understand it. Then can we deeply know that the silence of being is the only true sanctuary. At that point\, we relax completely and our actions are informed by the realized peace within. One truly sees the Beauty of these times and all times. \nDuring satsang\, Marlies guides us in meditation and gives a dharma talk. You are invited to share so please bring your experience\, presence and questions. \nThis event will have two parts. You are welcome to attend either one or both:\nSaturday Sept. 13\, 9am – 11am\, Pacific Time – register separate\nFriday Sept. 25\, 10am -12noon\, Pacific Time – register below \nThe event will be recorded and emailed to participants after the meeting. \nMarlies Myoku Cocheret has devoted her life to the Beloved. She brings a potent invitation into the deep Silence that we are. The kindness of her gentle and direct teaching guides us home like a lighthouse. She helps people to see that freedom and peace lie not in escaping from difficulties\, but rather in completely welcoming and receiving all that the Mystery presents.\nShe has been offering satsang and retreat since 2000 when Adyashanti asked her to teach. Marlies is trained as a psychologist in The Netherlands\, a Hakomi therapist\, and a Tantric educator. For over 25 years she has been ushering seekers into living the Divine in the body. She has a passion and a gift for bringing together the Sensual Body and the Silence of our Being. \nShe lives in Santa Cruz; California and works internationally. Marlies is interviewed in the book Awakened Relating. A Guide To Embodying Undivided love in Intimate Relationships by Lynn Marie Lumiere\, and in the book Ordinary Women\, Extraordinary Wisdom by R.M. Robinson \n“With Adya\, the bottom fell out. I deeply knew I am not this body\, mind\, thought\, psyche\, and I am also all these things as well. There was no in and/or out. All is One.” \nwww.marliescocheret.com \nSuggested donation: $15 to $25\nNo one turned away for lack of funds.\nPlease register early if you can. \nREGISTER \nThe event will be recorded and emailed to participants within a week.\nTo check your local time\, use a tool such as: Time Zone Converter
