Guided by Lisa’s compassionate presence\, you’ll gently release the need to be more or do more—and begin to see beyond the fears and self-doubt that cloud the mind\, awakening to the truth of who we really are. \nThis retreat is an opening — a return to love\, stillness\, and the simple joy of saying yes to life as it is. \nWe will begin each meeting with silence\, followed by sharing our realizations and questions. There may be exercises in pairs that will help give you deeper insight for your awakening. Each meeting is approx. 90 mins. \nAbout Lisa Schumacher\nFor 30 years\, Lisa has been a devoted student of her teacher Gangaji—who\, in 2005\, invited her to begin sharing Satsang. Lisa now stands as a devoted teacher in the respected lineage of Ramana Maharshi\, Papaji\, and Gangaji—honoring a tradition rooted in direct self-inquiry\, stillness\, and the intimate discovery of truth of who you are. \nWith many years of guiding others\, Lisa offers a rare and grounded presence\, inviting everyone she meets directly into their own loving heart. Being with her in Satsang feels like coming home\, you are welcome just as you are into the quiet recognition of what is already whole and free. \nWhat is Satsang\nSatsang is a sacred meeting in truth—an opening into honest self-inquiry in safe space honoring your own intention to inquire into your true nature. Guided by Lisa’s warm\, unwavering presence\, you are invited to gently turn inward and discover what is already whole\, free\, and at peace within yourself. \nThrough this simple yet profound inquiry\, old patterns\, ideas\, and self-image can begin to fall away. What remains is the natural love and stillness of your being. \nWhat many people discover is that this inner stillness begins to bring more clarity\, calm and compassion into everyday life—at work\, in relationships\, and especially within yourself. \nLisa’s website: satsangwithlisa.org \nEVENINGS in BERKELEY\nNo pre-registration for Feb. 19 & 20 evenings\n** Just show up & pay at the door **\nThursday Feb. 19 (7:00pm – 8:45pm)\nFriday Feb. 20 (7:00pm – 8:45pm)\n(in the Parlor room on 1st floor)\nSuggested donation: $15 to $30 each evening\nNo one turned away for lack of funds.\n~\nDAYLONG in BERKELEY\nSaturday Feb. 21 (10:30am – 4:30pm)\n(in the Gallery room upstairs)\nPre-registration recommended for the Daylong and closes Feb. 20th at 10 pm\nNo one turned away for lack of funds.\nIf you are not able to contribute within the Sliding Scale amount contact us at localevents@opencirclecenter.org\nSliding Scale: $60 to $120 \nREGISTER for FEB. 21 DAYLONG \nLocation of all Berkeley events:\nNorthbrae Community Church\, 941 The Alameda\, Berkeley\, CA \nPARKING: There is street parking in the neighborhood\, free and without time limit. \nFor inquiries contact LocalEvents@opencirclecenter.org \nIf you have symptoms of a respiratory infection\, or have had a recent\nCovid exposure or positive test\, please stay home out of consideration for others. \n  \nWatch Lisa share on True Meaning of Self Discovery:
