DESCRIPTION:“There is no greater mystery than this—that being the Reality ourselves\, we seek to gain Reality.” \nRamana Maharshi has been a light shining in the darkness for countless seekers of Truth.  In this silent retreat day honoring his life and teachings\, we will also consider ways that his method of Self-Inquiry has been misunderstood\, and ways in which some seekers make “Silence” an object rather than realizing its continual presence in everyday life.  Included in this day will be video clips of his life and darshan.   \nFor Ramana\, “All that is required to realize the Self is to be still.” Can we be still long enough to notice what is here when we stop trying to get “there?”  We will have a 1-hour break for lunch and afternoon tea.  Apart from satsang\, the retreat will be held in silence. \nLunch: There will be a 1 hour lunch break.\nBring your own lunch to eat outside on the patio overlooking the Bay. \nIn this short video Dorothy shares about sitting in the transforming fire\nof awakening after the initial glimpses many of us have experienced: \n\n\nDorothy Hunt\, Spiritual Director of Moon Mountain Sangha will facilitate this retreat day.  She is a teacher in the spiritual lineage of Adyashanti and was the founder of the San Francisco Center for Meditation and Psychotherapy.
