SUMMARY:Beth Miller ~ Anything is Possible! (In-Person Event)
DESCRIPTION:ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE \n“moving through the world\nwonder-struck by reality”\nMaria Popova \nYou’re warmly invited to a teaching satsang\, with Beth Miller\, where we gather in honest presence to explore what becomes possible when we meet life exactly as it is. \nThis offering is an invitation into relationship with all of creation – through radical acceptance of what is\, deep appreciation for the life you lead\, for everything you are\, for what is here now\, and for the precise journey that shaped you. \nDeeply surrendering to what is\, seeing the illusions\, projections\, loneliness and judgments of our opinions\, opens doors\, windows\, hearts\, minds\, and fists. \nWe are all called to love what is revealed and to compassionately stop resisting in the name of something “better” or “different”. \nTogether\, we’ll rest in what is\, welcome the holy wholeness of our experience and explore how clarity\, love\, silence\, and freedom naturally arises when nothing is excluded. \nABOUT BETH MILLER\nBeth Miller is a spiritual teacher\, psychotherapist\, and author devoted to deepening in our true nature and living in loving relationship with all of life. Her work weaves psychological depth with direct spiritual inquiry into presence\, love and wholeness. After raising 2 sons and completing her doctoral study in psychology\, Beth taught at California Institute of Integral Studies and UCSF\, maintained a private practice and led workshops in resilience. Her first book\, The Woman’s Book of Resilience: 12 Qualities to Cultivate\, was published in 2005\, and came from her doctoral dissertation. Through teaching\, writing and private sessions\, Beth shares from lived experience. \nBeth studied and followed Adyashanti\, David Hawkins\, Mooji and Jan Frazier. In 2013\, she spent a week one on one with Jan Frazier in Vermont. Jan is heart based\, and “ignited the same heart flame” in Beth. Later\, in a three day retreat with Jan in Mill Valley\, “three things happened simultaneously. I felt an intense burning sensation in my gut\, radiating throughout my entire body and all barriers between me and the people in the room\, the room itself\, the great outdoors fell away and the reality of being everyone and everything was as clear as clear could be. The oneness of it all felt incredibly ordinary – in the sense of having known this all along and just now remembering – it felt so completely natural\, so matter of fact. The third\, and by far\, the most difficult to express is the immensity of love that washed through me\, arose in and all around me…. love that was beyond anything I could express and bigger than anything I could imagine. It was over-powering in an indelible and stunningly glorious way. In retrospect\, I can see how the last 12 years has been a deepening into the expression of love.” \nIn her most recent book\, Awakening is Not for the Faint of Heart\, she shares her own journey through Long Covid and inner transformation\, inviting readers into an honest\, courageous\, and compassionate engagement with life exactly as it is. \nBeth’s website: www.bethmillerphd.com \nRick Archer – Batgap 3/22 interview with Beth: https://batgap.com/beth-miller/ \nAwareness Explorers 10/25 interview with Beth: https://www.awarenessexplorers.com/podcast/episode/1ad4fd5d/198-beth-miller-guest-explorer \nSatsang: 2-4 pm\nRefreshments: until 5\nSuggested Donation: $10- $20\, no one turned away.\nNo reservation needed.
